RMIA conference delegates to share ‘cutting-edge’ insights

The Risk Management Institution of Australasia’s National Conference will be held on November 11-13 at the Adelaide Oval, allowing 300 risk professionals to share “cutting-edge” risk management practice, foster creative thinking and network.

Topics for discussion include enterprise risk management, people, culture and ethics, business continuity and crisis management, risk finance, and insurance and local government.

Speakers will include Grant Hehir, Auditor-General for Australia, Nathan Hight, Acting GM Capacity and Capability at Surf Life Saving Australia, and Paul Chivers, a producer on the award-winning TV show The Amazing Race.

Aon CEO Multinational Clients Jason Disborough will discuss Aon’s Global Risk Management Survey finding that “damage to brand and reputation” is today’s No.1 risk.

He will also discuss cyber risk, which entered the top 10 for the first time.
