Risk Frontiers seminar spotlights key natural hazards
Risk Frontiers will hold its annual in-person seminar later this month, covering topics such as seismic resilience, wildfires and the impact of climate change on rainfall and run-off.
The two-hour panel session will feature Risk Frontiers chief geoscientist Paul Somerville, Australian Earthquake Engineering Society president Scott Menegon, University of Melbourne fire risk expert Hamish Clarke, and Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water director Leanne Haupt.
Risk Frontiers MD Ryan Crompton will host the panel. The catastrophe modeller will also hold a one-hour networking event following the panel session at the Museum of Sydney on October 23.
