Risk Frontiers' in-person seminar returns
Natural hazard modeller Risk Frontiers has announced the return of its in-person forum addressing ongoing climate risks.
It says the event will cover key themes regarding climate drivers, the correlation with occurring natural hazards, and how its modelling has adjusted to the correlation. Other topics to be discussed include improvements to flood and fire resilience.
The event will feature presentations from guest speakers, including Bureau of Meteorology Research Scientist Acacia Pepler, Risk Frontier’s Mingzhu Wang and Salome Hussein, and Minderoo Foundation Data Economics Lead John Sukkar. Risk Frontiers MD Ryan Crompton will serve as the event’s MC.
The seminar will be held at the Museum of Sydney on October 27 from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
