Zurich’s NSW/ACT State Manager Sean Walker has been promoted to GM Underwriting for corporate business at Zurich.

Mr Walker, who joined Zurich in September 2010, will focus on growing Zurich’s corporate business, through “significant engagement with brokers”, the company says.

In his previous position Mr Walker was responsible for leading the distribution and underwriting teams in NSW/ACT, as well as managing changes for the rollout of Zurich’s Xpress Underwriting Centre in Sydney and overseeing the introduction of a new distribution team.

The move sees Zurich’s National Underwriting Manager – Motor, Nick Dendrinos, promoted to NSW/ACT State Manager.

Both positions report to EGM Corporate Daniel Fogarty.
