The new Australasian branch of the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) has released details of its first international educational event.

The Risk Forum Australasia will be held in Melbourne on December 5.

RIMS International Initiatives Manager Darlene Lebron says professionals with experience in such areas as emerging risks, enterprise risk management, natural catastrophe, cyber risk, social media risk, global risk management and political risk are welcome to apply to speak at the conference.

She says sessions and panel discussions will focus on “cutting-edge strategies and unique aspects of risk management that would be of interest to risk professionals managing both strategic and everyday risks”.

Submissions will be accepted until Sunday, at international@RIMS.org.
