The Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) is looking for speakers to lead a session at this year’s Risk Forum Australasia.

Successful submissions will cover pressing risk management issues for the region, and best practices for the profession.

Applicants should send a one-page Word document including their proposed session title, the names and titles of speakers – maximum three per session – and a short description of the session topic, covering contents and goals, to content@rims.org.

Sessions that include a practising risk manager will be favoured.

RIMS expects forum organisers will not consider sessions that are effectively sales pitches, because the purpose is to educate and advance the discipline of risk management.

The deadline for submissions is March 18. The forum will be held on August 22-23 in Melbourne.
