Rescheduled Claims Convention set for December
The Claims Convention is set to be held in Sydney next month after the event was rescheduled from September due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The event, which has the theme Claims Meeting the Challenges – Pandemic, Disasters, Regulations & Technology Changes, will take place at the Four Seasons Hotel on December 8.
The convention is a collaboration between the Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters (AICLA) and the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.
“After 12 months with few networking events, we are looking forward to bringing the insurance claims community together at the convention,” the organisers say.
Speakers are set to include Resilience NSW Commissioner Shane Fitzsimmons, Australian Financial Complaints Authority Lead Ombudsman Insurance Emma Curtis and representatives from insurers, reinsurers and legal firms.
AICLA says about 220 registrations have been received to date, with the number expected to rise over coming weeks.
