Reinsurance pool appoints strategy chief
The Australian Reinsurance Pool Corporation (ARPC) has appointed former QBE executive Michaela Flanagan to the new role of GM Business Performance and Strategy.
CEO Chris Wallace says Ms Flanagan has deep experience in insurance, “coupled with extensive experience in developing and implementing corporate strategy, business plans and projects”.
Ms Flanagan has 20 years’ experience in general insurance, starting her career with Zurich as an underwriter and later moving into the IT area.
In 2004 she joined QBE, working first in IT and later in roles including manager of strategy and planning, and head of strategy.
She starts with the ARPC on December 5.
