Registrations rise for NIBA Convention
The National Insurance Brokers Association’s revamped convention program is proving popular, with registrations already up significantly on recent years.
The association has cut the convention’s duration from three days to two and introduced a wide range of registration options.
CEO Dallas Booth says around 650 brokers have already signed up to attend the event in Melbourne from October 13 to 15, with total registrations approaching 800.
“We’re trying to be as flexible as possible this year, to allow brokers the chance to attend in some capacity, so whether they want to take up the option of free expo hall entry, a day pass or full registration, there is a cost-effective option available to brokers and their staff,” he said.
Young brokers will be offered two free 45-minute sessions each day, covering the fundamentals of the profession. Separate registration for these events will open shortly.
Brokers will also gain free entry to the convention expo hall, to network with exhibitors.
This year’s event has an emphasis on technical learning.
