The International Fire Behaviour and Fuels Conference will take place from April 29 to May 3 at the International Convention Centre in Sydney.

Bushfire behaviour, fire prediction software, fuel modification, research, and lessons from past disasters and risk modelling are among the topics.

Organised by the International Association of Wildland Fire, the event will run concurrently in Marseille, France, and Albuquerque, US.

The Bushfire and Natural Hazards Co-operative Research Centre, the NSW Rural Fire Service and the Bureau of Meteorology are lead partners of the Sydney conference.
