Regional Insurance Services (RIS) has been named Resilium Practice of the Year at an award ceremony held in New Zealand last night during the group’s annual conference. 

Dubbo-based RIS, led by MD Geoff Capell, was selected from around 140 Resilium authorised representative practices. 

Resilium Insurance Broking MD Ben Hastie says the Practice of the Year is selected through a thorough review process where a number of key factors are examined, and picking an overall winner is never easy. 

“However, Geoff and his team stood out this year particularly for a number of reasons – their consistent dedication to compliance and training, along with their outstanding business development and growth,” Mr Hastie said. 

Mr Capell, a Resilium authorised representative since 2016, says the RIS team is delighted to receive the award, particularly given the many successful practices within the network. 

“We are really proud to get this recognition which is testament to all the hard work our staff continue to pour into our business,” he said. 

The annual three-day Resilium Conference is being held in Queenstown, with the event including a raft of speakers, a marketplace tradeshow with more than 30 insurer and premium funding partners and activities such as jetboating, self-drive buggy tours and wine tasting.
