Reader’s Digest has presented its annual quality service awards to New Zealand companies across several industries, including insurance.

The winners are based according to a representative sample of 1500 adult consumers.

Following are the insurance winners:

• Car insurance – gold winner: AA Insurance (a joint venture with Suncorp); silver winner: AMI (owned by IAG).
• Home and contents insurance – gold winner: AMI, silver winner: AA Insurance
• Pet insurance – gold winner: Southern Cross Pet Insurance, silver winner: AA Insurance
• Travel insurance – gold winner: Southern Cross Travel Insurance, silver winner: AA Traveller
