Trent Sayers has been appointed GM Claims at RACQ and will move back to Brisbane with his family from Tasmania for the role.

Mr Sayers was most recently CEO Insurance at RACT and formerly held various operational, managerial, and executive positions across Australia at AAMI. He starts in the new position on January 24.

RACQ Group Executive Insurance Tracy Green says Mr Sayers has a deep understanding of multiple insurance functions including claims, product, pricing and distribution.

“He comes home to Queensland with more than 25 years of expertise within the financial services and general insurance industry under his belt,” she said.
