Quill Club hosts annual Melbourne fundraiser
The Quill Club will hold its 12th annual charity luncheon on Friday at Central Pier in Melbourne’s Docklands.
Scott Winton Insurance Brokers is sponsoring the event, which this year supports Yellow Ladybugs, a volunteer community group that helps autistic girls and women.
Last year’s lunch raised $40,000 for the Commando Welfare Trust.
The Quill Club was established in 1977 as a social and charitable organisation for insurance professionals.
More than 500 people are booked to attend the luncheon, and the organising committee has asked them to turn up well before the event starts “to ensure there is no last-minute crush to get in”.
