Tamara Johnson from Jardine Lloyd Thompson has been named as Queensland’s top young professional insurance broker.

The Vero-sponsored Warren Tickle Memorial Award recognises outstanding standards of professionalism and integrity among brokers aged under 35. It honours the late Warren Tickle, a former insurance commissioner and industry educator.

Vero Queensland Sales Leader Julie Poppi presented Ms Johnson with the state award at a cocktail function at Tattersall’s Club in Brisbane on Friday night.

Ms Johnson will join four other regional finalists at the NIBA Convention on the Gold Coast in October, where the Warren Tickle award winner will be named. The Victorian/Tasmanian finalist will be named next month.
