QBE won the employee network category at last week’s Australian LGBTI Awards in Sydney.

The award recognises the insurer’s work to promote an inclusive workplace for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) staff.

“Fostering an inclusive workplace is not only the right thing to do, it’s fundamental to delivering on our strategic plan and driving positive outcomes for our customers and partners,” QBE’s Chief Human Resources Officer Eleanor Debelle said.
