QBE scholar looks to improve aviation safety
QBE has awarded its first Aerial Application Scholarship in partnership with the Aerial Agricultural Association of Australia.
Mark Brear will use the $5000 award to test an aircraft system that QBE says could improve pilot performance, particularly in checks and training.
The onboard system captures flying data and pilot behaviour via video, so pilots and operators can access performance.
QBE National Relationship Manager for Aviation Julian Fraser says the project complements the association’s aerial improvement management system and could deliver benefits for all operators.
