QBE Chief Risk Officer Mark Baxter has been named among the country’s outstanding lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) leaders.

The top 50, compiled by Deloitte in partnership with Google, aims to promote workplace inclusion and create role models for LGBTI workers.

“To be acknowledged among such a high calibre of Australian leaders, is truly humbling,” Mr Baxter said. “Initiatives like this are important to shine a light on the diverse roles people in the LGBTI community play.”

Mr Baxter, who joined QBE last year, is also a member of the company’s pride committee.
