QBE’s charity arm has made a $20,000 donation to the Sydney Swans as part of its Goals for Good Initiative.

The QBE Foundation donated $1000 for every Swans goal scored during the Australian Football League match. After the team kicked 14 goals during the game, QBE increased the donation, with the money raised being split between its charity partners and the Sydney Swans Foundation.

QBE also hosted employees, friends and families of its charity partners at the game, including FoodBank, Mission Australia, McGrath Foundation, Assistance Dogs, R U OK? and the Kids Cancer Project.

“Goals for Good helps us bring to life the QBE Foundation’s mission to make a positive difference to

the communities we live and operate in,” says QBE Australia CEO Vivek Bhatia.

QBE has donated more than $800,000 this year.
