The QBE Foundation has donated $10,000 to the GO Foundation, a charity co-founded by AFL legend Adam Goodes to support the Indigenous community.

“The GO Foundation does wonderful work providing better futures for young Indigenous Australians and we are proud to support such a worthwhile cause,” QBE Foundation Chairwoman Sally Kincaid said.

Mr Goodes, a former Australian of the Year, played for the QBE-sponsored Sydney Swans before retiring at the end of the 2015 season. The Go Foundation will use the donation to expand its scholarship program to include state schools.
