The QBE Foundation says it has raised more than $93,000 following the victory of its principal partner, AFL team the Sydney Swans, over the West Coast Eagles on June 24.  

The donation stems from QBE’s annual Goals for Good event, which sees the foundation gift $3000 for each goal scored by the Swans.  

The Swans fired off 31 goals to defeat the Eagles 205-34, with the score marking the team’s equal-fourth largest victory in its history.  

The funds were split between QBE partners including Save the Children Australia, Stars Foundation, Australian Red Cross, Orange Sky, Foodbank Australia and R U OK?, as well as the Sydney Swans Foundation.
