QBE has renewed its partnership with AFL club Sydney Swans to continue as its primary shirt sponsor for five more years.

The deal will continue a 36-year-long sponsorship and see the insurer as the club’s first “Whole of Club” Principal Partner to support the club’s AFL and AFLW teams and the QBE Sydney Swans academy.

QBE Australia Pacific CEO Sue Houghton says inclusivity and equality have been centrepiece values for the continued partnership that has seen several community-related initiatives and the establishment of the namesake academy program in 2010.

“Our support is about seeing young diverse talent, the club, and the communities around them build resilience and thrive, in line with our purpose to enable a more resilient future and be there for our communities before and after,” Ms Houghton said.
