QBE has today opened nominations for next year’s eQuip training and development program for brokers.

The scheme allows 80 brokers to attend three two-day modules – held in each major state capital – addressing sales and relationship management, leadership and insurance acumen.

Participants are supported throughout the year with coaching and networking, and at the program’s end are invited to join the eQuip alumni, with access to further networking and professional development opportunities.

More than 500 people have been trained since the program was launched in 2007. Nominations close on September 5. For more information, email eQuip@qbe.com.

Meanwhile, QBE has confirmed it will move to its new head office in Sydney CBD in October.

A spokesman told insuranceNEWS.com.au about 700 staff in the Australian and New Zealand division will relocate to the Citigroup Centre in Park Street from offices in Pitt Street and Harrington Street.
