QBE has announced the retirement of Margaret Leung from its board after four years.

Chairman Marty Becker says the board is grateful for her “outstanding” contribution over the past four years.

“While we will miss Margaret, she is leaving a board of the highest quality following the appointment of three exceptional non-executive directors last year,” Mr Becker said.

Those appointments are former Lloyd’s stalwart Rolf Tolle, former IAG MD and CEO Mike Wilkins and former EY partner Kathy Lisson.

Mr Becker says Ms Lisson “brings a rare skill set spanning digital technology, cyber security, IT risks and data analytics that is essential to shaping our company’s technology and operations direction”.

Shareholders can vote on the election of Mr Wilkins and Ms Lisson at the group’s AGM on May 3.
