QBE has promoted national relationship manager James McCauley to Regional Manager Victoria and Tasmania, Broker Distribution, starting today.

Mr McCauley succeeds Andrew Borden, who was recently appointed GM Workers’ Compensation.

Mr McCauley has more than 30 years’ experience in insurance, spanning underwriting and broking, including the past six with QBE.

Before joining the insurer as distribution manager in 2010 he was GM of Melbourne-based BJS Insurance Brokers. He is also a former business relationship manager with Suncorp and a director of Quantum Insurance Brokers.
