OAMPS gives Bradley national growth role

Mark Bradley has been appointed by major broker OAMPS as Head of Commercial Broking, with a brief to consolidate and grow the business.

The newly created role has responsibility for the management of OAMPS’ 30 commercial branches across Australia, which employ about 550 broking staff.

Mr Bradley joined OAMPS last year as Southern Regional Manager after an eight-year stint at Allianz Australia, the last five years as CEO of Club Marine.

He told insuranceNEWS.com.au today that Wesfarmers-owned OAMPS has “ambitious growth objectives” in commercial broking.

“This new role is designed to consolidate and grow our commercial broking distribution capability,” he said. “We want to embed a culture that’s more customer-focused as well as boost our back-office efficiencies.”

Mr Bradley says OAMPS will expand nationally through further strategic acquisitions and by setting up new offices where they are needed.

“There’s only so much you can do through acquisitions, so starting up new operations in strategically important markets is a no-brainer,” he said.
