National Transport Insurance (NTI) has been named a “platinum partner” of industry association NatRoad, in recognition of its support for the transport sector.

The insurer has supported freight hauliers’ representative NatRoad and its predecessors as a sponsor since 1978, an NTI spokesman told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

It offers financial support, backs advocacy work and shares its National Truck Accident Research Centre.

“NTI is a proud supporter of transport associations across Australia and their work in representing and uniting the trucking industry,” NTI GM Sales and Distribution Mike Edmonds said.

The insurer received the award from Deputy Prime Minister Warren Truss at NatRoad’s annual dinner at Parliament House in Canberra.
