NTI creates online truck safety information hub
Transport and logistics specialist insurer NTI has invested in an online information resource to help local fleet operators and drivers stay up-to-date on the latest safety advice.
NTI’s Better Business Hub features articles, infographics, videos and more from NTI experts and external specialists Australia-wide so drivers and management can engage with the content best suited to them.
The first educational series on the Hub – the Business of Safety – was launched on Thursday at the Brisbane Truck Show and was backed by a $300,000 government grant, which NTI matched.
“We know there is a lot to consider when it comes to navigating red tape, staying up-to-date with technology, managing teams and maximising profitability, so we wanted to create a go-to online resource where anyone in the industry can access practical information in a way that is simple to digest,” NTI’s Head of Customer and Industry Strategy Staci Clark said.
The hub includes topics Cutting Red Tape, Managing Your Team, Practical Tips on Improving Cashflow, Driver’s Corner, safety case studies and a message from NTI CEO Tony Clark, who says NTI is “proud to be a part” of the Australian transport and logistics industry.
“We want to play an active role in shifting our industry from good to great,” he said. “Our purpose is to make you safe and sustainable.”
“We know it’s not always easy finding what you need – or even knowing what to look for in the first place – the Better Business Hub gives you online access to a range of tools and resources to move you in the right direction.”
The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) Heavy Vehicle Safety Initiative has so far allocated $22.8 million through 89 separate grants over the past five years.
