NTI boss to walk NT trail for MND fundraiser
National Transport Insurance (NTI) CEO Tony Clark will trek the Larapinta Trail in the NT to raise funds for motor neurone disease (MND) research.
The group hike from July 26 to August 1 is organised by MND and Me Foundation, a charity that supports people living with the neurodegenerative condition.
NTI has been a supporter of the charity, raising funds to support its work after former CEO Wayne Patterson, who succumbed to the incurable illness in 2018, was diagnosed in 2015.
“I am walking the Larapinta Trail to raise money for motor neurone disease research,” Mr Clark says on his LinkedIn page.
“MND took the life of my predecessor Wayne Patterson. NTI continues to raise money in his memory.”
Mr Clark hopes to raise $3500 and his supporters have donated more than $2000 to date.
