Specialist transport and logistics insurer NTI has appointed Jason Chappell to the role of State Manager for Victoria and Tasmania.

The appointment comes after the death in September of former state manager Renzo Antidormi after a three-year battle with cancer.

Mr Chappell, who will lead NTI’s commercial teams across the states, was formerly regional manager at Suncorp. He brings 17 years of sales and distribution experience across insurance and banking, including managing motor vehicle claims at Suncorp in SA.

NTI, which is jointly owned by IAG and Suncorp, was crowned Underwriting Agency of the Year at the Insurance Advisernet conference in November.
