Global law firm Norton Rose has appointed Asia-Pacific Head of Insurance Tricia Hobson as chair of its Australian Partnership Council.

Ms Hobson will begin her three-year chairmanship of the council, which is the regional board for the firm’s Australian partners, on July 1.

She has been Asia-Pacific Head of Insurance since January 2013 and specialises in complex coverage disputes. She has handled several high-profile directors’ and officers’ disputes, as well as other high-profile insurance cases.

She takes over from Sydney Corporate Partner Adrian Ahern.
