Nominations are now open for the 2011 Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) Adviser of the Year Award.

Nominations for the award, now in its ninth year, close on Friday July 29 with the winner to be announced at the AFA National Conference gala dinner on October 25.

The AFA says this year a new judge has joined the selection panel, with Beaton Research and Consulting director Rebecca Shiels being appointed.
