The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) will reveal this year’s five regional "broker of the year” award winners every Wednesday in September.

The awards will kick off with the winner for NSW/ACT named on September 2, followed by Queensland a week later, then SA/NT on September 16, Victoria/Tasmania on September 23 and finally WA on September 30.

The 13 regional finalists in the running were named last week. The winners ultimately selected across the five regions will go on to compete for the broking sector’s premier recognition, the Stephen Ball Memorial Award and top honour of Insurance Broker of the Year.

That lucky broker will be crowned during this year’s NIBA Virtual Convention, to be held online from October 26-30.

The awards are sponsored by QBE and go to an individual broker deemed an inspirational role model for the broking community.
