NIBA staff stay home after infection scare

All staff from the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) are currently working from home after a suspected coronavirus case was identified at its North Sydney office building.

CEO Dallas Booth says on LinkedIn that “NIBA remains open for business, but we have had to make some adjustments”.

“Last week we decided we would mostly work from home, and then we had a C-19 scare in our building,” he says.

“As a result we are all at home until it is clear it is safe to return to Berry Street.”

NIBA can still be contacted, by emailing info@niba.com.au.

Mr Booth told insuranceNEWS.com.that the suspected case was not a NIBA member of staff.

“It was a person working on the floor above us, but we reacted with great caution and we are going to continue working from home. This is consistent with the advice to stay home if you can.”
