Megalines Insurance & Risk Advisers CEO Bunmi Ajayi has won the National Insurance Brokers Association’s (NIBA) Victoria and Tasmania broker of the year award.

The prize puts Mr Ajayi, from Point Cook in Melbourne, in the running for the national award, which is sponsored by Zurich.

The national prize is worth $20,000, and includes an overseas business development experience.

Tresidder Insurance Group Account Manager Luke Chrzanowski from Geelong is the region’s young professional broker of the year. He won the Catlin London Educational Scholarship in 2013.

He will compete with four other regional winners for the national Warren Tickle Memorial Award, which is sponsored by Vero and valued at $10,000.

National winners will be revealed at the NIBA Convention in Melbourne on September 6-8.
