NIBA names Vic/Tas award winners
Penelope Collins of CMIB Insurance Services in the inner-Melbourne suburb of Richmond has won the National Insurance Brokers Association’s broker of the year award for Victoria and Tasmania.
The regional award for young professional broker of the year goes to Leigh Moulden of Doreen Insurance Solutions in the city’s north-east.
Other state and regional winners will be announced in coming months, before the presentation of national honours in September.
Angelo Stathopoulos from Guardian Insurance Group and Joanne Tutton from Gallagher will compete for the association’s SA/NT broker of the year award.
The winner will be announced at a gala lunch at Adelaide Convention Centre on July 20.
The association has also named finalists in the Queensland young professional broker of the year contest.
Steven Purser from PSC Insurance Group, Emma Busby from Gallagher and Mitchell Young from TIC Insurance Brokers are in contention. The winner will be named at a gala lunch at the Royal International Convention Centre in Brisbane on July 18.
Regional winners will compete for the national Stephen Ball Memorial Award for broker of the year and the Warren Tickle Memorial Award for young professional broker.
