The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) has announced the three contenders for its young broker of the year award in Queensland.

They are Christina Neylon from Ausure Coast & Country, Tyrone Shandiman of Strata Insurance Solutions and Dwayne Watkins from Aon.

The winner, who will be named at the NIBA Queensland gala lunch in Brisbane on July 20, will compete with other state and territory finalists for the Vero-sponsored national Warren Tickle Memorial Award at the NIBA Convention in Melbourne in September.

NIBA has already announced the finalists for the broker of the year awards in NSW/ACT, SA/NT and Victoria/Tasmania, and the WA finalists will be announced soon.

The national prize is a tailored professional development and travel experience worth more than $10,000.
