The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) has revealed its broker of the year award winners in Queensland and SA/NT.

Capital Innovation Australia GM Steven Hill is broker of the year for Queensland, while the young professional broker award goes to Steven Purser of PSC Insurance Group.

The Queensland winners were announced at a gala lunch at Brisbane’s Royal International Convention Centre last Wednesday.

For SA/NT, Joanne Tutton of Gallagher was named broker of the year at Adelaide Convention Centre on Friday. Daniel Webber of Webber Insurance Services received the young broker accolade.

The regional winners will contend for national honours, to be announced at the NIBA Convention in Hobart in September.
