NIBA award recognises Frank Earl
The National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) has launched an annual educational award dedicated to the memory of the late Frank Earl, who died in July.
It’s one of two new broker education awards announced at the association’s Gold Coast convention yesterday by NIBA President Steve Lardner.
The Frank Earl Memorial Award will support a broker studying for the Graduate Diploma in Financial Services. It recognises Mr Earl’s drive for education and professionalism through his work on NIBA’s board and education committee.
Pacific Premium Funding will sponsor the award, providing $10,000 a year.
Meanwhile, CGU has committed to providing $25,000 a year to support up to 10 brokers studying for the Certified Professional Insurance Broker qualification. Participants will have to have been a NIBA Qualified Practising Insurance Broker for a minimum of two years and a practising broker for six years.
