Nominations have closed for the National Insurance Brokers Association’s (NIBA) Broker of the Year Award and finalists will be announced next month.

The Zurich-sponsored award recognises high-performing broker professionals.

State finalists are also set to be announced for the Vero-sponsored Warren Tickle Memorial Award, which recognises a NIBA broker aged under 35 who exhibits an outstanding level of professionalism and integrity.

State winners will be announced at events on the following dates: SA, July 6; NSW, July 7; Queensland, July 18; and WA, July 20.

Details of the Victorian event are yet to be confirmed but it is expected to be held in late July or early August.

National winners of both awards will be announced at the NIBA Convention at the Gold Coast in October.
