NIBA announces claims, community award winners
Gallagher claims manager Jenavee Holz-Cubby has been named claims broker of the year and Austbrokers Comsure people and culture manager Paul Reis has been crowned community excellence member of the year.
The National Insurance Brokers Association announced the winners at its convention in Adelaide today.
Sponsor Sedgwick’s client director Colin McEnery says Ms Holz-Cubby showed “exceptional technical expertise in claims management and advocacy, along with a high level of professionalism in fostering relationships with clients and underwriters.
“Her extensive claims process and practice experience consistently led to improved client outcomes.”
Sponsor Liberty Specialty Markets’ VP Peter O’Leary says Mr Reis has demonstrated “a level of dedication that goes above and beyond in giving back to the community.
“He has provided extensive service as the club chaplain with the Brisbane Lions football club and volunteered his time to raise awareness about challenging issues facing the community, such as domestic violence, mental health and supporting individuals experiencing personal loss.”
Ms Holz-Cubby competed against finalists Tracey Hind, Simon Bogli and Samantha Bellman, and Mr Reis against Don Shields and Justine Keech.
NIBA CEO Richard Klipin says the awards “unearth exceptional talents that are making a real difference in the lives of their clients and the community through claims expertise” and “spotlight hidden community champions who have gone the extra mile”.
