Emily Harbidge has been appointed Claims Manager at underwriting agency Newline Australia, following Emily Dewberry’s departure to run her own mediation business.

Ms Harbidge, a qualified legal practitioner, started in the role last month.

She was previously based in London for eight years with Zurich, where she specialised in financial lines claims.

Before that she was with law firm Sparke Helmore in Brisbane.

“I am confident the value Emily will add to the quality of the total Newline offering will be very quickly realised by the market,” Regional Manager Craig Rowsell said.
