New YIPs presidents appointed

Two new branch presidents have been appointed by the Young Insurance Professionals (YIPs).

Karen McKenzie, Liability Claims Manager at Catholic Church Insurance in Melbourne, has been made president of the Victorian branch and Emma Topen, an associate at Carter Newell Lawyers in Brisbane, takes the same role in Queensland.

The appointments mark the start of an “exciting new phase” for YIPS, says a statement from the Australasian committee, with fresh website sections about to be launched and a series of events being planned.

YIPs is a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting younger members of the industry, irrespective of their professional affiliations.
