Schroder Investment Management CEO Greg Cooper has been elected as Deputy Chairman of the Financial Services Council (FSC).

Mr Cooper has been an FSC director for three years and is Co-Chair of the Investment Board Committee.

He now joins the FSC’s Administration & Risk Board Committee and the Nominations Board Committee.

The appointment follows the resignation of former AllianceBernstein Australia CEO Michael Bargholz.
