Need courage? Actuaries Institute has some answers
The Actuaries Institute is running a series of workshops on leadership through personal courage.
Held across Australia in March, the workshops will feature CEO Melinda Howes and incoming president John Newman.
Presenters also include business consultants Brent Duffy (WA, NSW and Queensland) and Ant Williams (SA, Victoria and ACT).
The sessions will “focus on leadership and the courage required for actuaries to stand by their recommendations, explain their rationale, and be open to alternative views”.
The half-day events are only open to institute members. Registrations are open at the Actuaries Institute website.
