National Credit Insurance has expanded with a new office in Newcastle.

Marketing Manager Daniel Mackintosh tells insuranceNEWS.com.au the expansion comes after organic growth in the region prompted the team to recruit local Sales Executive Greg Kowaliw.

Newcastle is seeing growth in a number of industries, Mr Mackintosh says, and Mr Kowaliw is tasked with “educating businesses and growing trade credit insurance in the region”.

"Mining, mining services, agriculture and construction are the larger industries and there are also a number of infrastructure projects such as roads, freeways, hospitals and community projects which are at record levels,” Mr Mackintosh said.

NCI was established in 1985 as a specialist trade credit insurance broker. Headquartered in Adelaide, it now has offices in North Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane and Perth.
