National roadshow advises advisers
More than 1200 financial advisers have signed up for a roadshow being run by the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) to pass on “knowledge, experience, skills and networks” to the next generation of advisers.
AFA CEO Richard Klipin says the GenXt 2010 Roadshow has been “a resounding success” in WA, SA and Tasmania. The events in Melbourne tomorrow and in Brisbane on Thursday have only a few places left, while the Sydney roadshow on Wednesday is booked out.
As well as sessions on investment markets, pricing models and regulation, the mainland roadshow events include master classes on education and how to charge for advice.
“Our master classes will help young advisers to learn the nuts and bolts of pricing models and which model is likely to be right for their businesses,” Mr Klipin said.
