The Melbourne Marine Insurance Forum (MMIF) will hold a webinar event on accidents at sea and human error. 

The event will host Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) Vessell Operation Manager Michelle Grech and look at factors contributing to incidents at sea.

Ms Grech leads a team at AMSA that develops maritime incident data management, education, industry liaison, and operational policy to improve sea vessel operations.  

She has more than 20 years of maritime industry experience, having worked as an engineer, systems safety researcher and safety professional. 

The webinar event will take place on Tuesday, May 9, from 11am to midday.
