MKS Insurance Services has been named Resilium Practice of the Year, with the presentation of the award made at a dinner last night.

MKS MD Koert Slik has been a Resilium authorised representative since 2016. The NSW-based business was competing with around 140 practices for the title.

Resilium Insurance Broking MD Ben Hastie says the winner of the award is carefully selected through a thorough review process where a number of factors are examined.

“It was a real tough one this year to single out just one successful practice as all of them are doing so well, despite some pretty testing market conditions we’ve all been through,” he said.

“Koert and his team stood out this year for a number reasons, but mainly because of their dedication to compliance and training, as well as their outstanding business development and growth this year.”

The award is presented as part of the three-day annual Resilium Conference, held this year in Cairns.

Conference attendees have participated in activities including white water rafting and sailing, while Resilium has also provided ARs with training and insight in areas such as compliance and marketing.
