Broker MGA Insurance Group has announced portfolio management appointments at its Dulwich head office in Adelaide.

Experienced Portfolio Manager Micheal Rapisarda this month joins the group and Account Broker Morgan Stuckey has been elevated to Portfolio Manager.

MGA Insurance Group MD Paul George says the appointments and promotion follow the retirement of Ken Barker who finalised succession discussions for his portfolio after almost 10 years with MGA.

“Morgan Stuckey has worked with Ken for several years as a highly experienced Account Broker and will take on a large part of the commercial portfolio,” Mr George said.

Mr Rapisarda joins wife Paula Rapisarda who is already a Portfolio Manager at MGA.

“Paula and Micheal Rapisarda take over the commercial SME customers and the schemes component. Both are experienced commercial insurance brokers in the South Australian market, particularly in contract works,” Mr George said.

Mr George paid tribute to Mr Barker for his dedication and support in a successful 10-year partnership.

“Ken has been a terrific contributor and will be around for a while yet to ensure a smooth transition,” he said.
